This position involves the development of crystalline materials and crystal growth technology, and/or research on practical applications using crystalline materials. The goal is to research crystalline materials that can be used for real world applications such as medical devices, security checks, and astrophysics. Therefore, a successful candidate will be able to contribute to industry-academia collaborations with collaborating companies and startups originating from the laboratory.
Strong communication skills are also key, as successful candidates must cooperate with other staff members for health and safety management and student guidance. The Advanced Crystal Engineering Research Laboratory is an internationally-minded workplace, and proactively engages in collaborative endeavours and training events overseas.
