Tohoku University’s Graduate School of Engineering is seeking to hire a professor to teach and research within the Department of Electrical Engineering.

Job Description
Successful candidates will engage in research and education related to the field of energy conversion systems, contributing to advancing academic knowledge and practical applications within energy conversion technologies.
They will also teach classes at the Department of Electrical Information and Physics Engineering within the Faculty of Engineering.

Qualifications

Candidates must have a doctoral degree upon appointment or be taking up the role.
Regardless of nationality, candidates should have a mutual understanding of English and Japanese.
The ability to instruct students with diligence.

The Department of Electrical Engineering at Tohoku University is dedicated to advancing technologies for the sustainable and efficient use of energy, with a long-term perspective extending into the 22nd century. Education and research in the department focus on physical principles of electricity and magnetism and cover a wide range of systems related to the generation, transmission, conversion, use, and storage of electrical energy.
